Introduction

These terms and conditions govern participation in the Wheel In Motion WCMX/Skate Contest scheduled for October 12. By registering for the contest, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions..


1. Eligibility

1.1 Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 6 years old on the date of the contest.


1.2 Categories: The contest is open to individuals of all skill levels. Participants will be divided into categories based on skill level and type of performance.

1.3 Registration: All participants must complete and submit the official registration form by the deadline specified on the event page.


2. Contest Details

2.1 Date and Venue: The contest will take place on October 12 at Wentwood Playground Skatepark, on 200 W Loyola Dr, Kenner, LA 70065. .

2.2 Check-in: Participants must check in at the registration desk between 10:00 AM and 5:00PM on the day of the contest.

2.3 Equipment: Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment. All equipment must meet safety standards specified by the organizers.


3. Judging and Prizes

3.1 Judging Criteria: Performances will be judged based on creativity, difficulty, execution, and overall impression.

3.2 Judging Panel: A panel of experts selected by Wheel In Motion will judge the contest. All decisions by the judges are final.

3.3 Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in each category. Prize details will be announced prior to the contest.


4. Conduct and Safety

4.1 Code of Conduct: Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.

4.2 Safety Gear: All participants must wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets and pads, during their performances.

4.3 Medical Assistance: On-site medical assistance will be available. Participants are responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the contest.


5. Liability

5.1 Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with WCMX/Skate activities and agree to participate at their own risk.

5.2 Release of Liability: By participating, participants release Wheel In Motion, its organizers, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the contest.

5.3 Insurance: Participants are encouraged to have their own insurance coverage for personal injury and property damage.


6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Media Release: Participants grant Wheel In Motion the right to use their names, likenesses, and performances in promotional materials without additional compensation.

6.2 Ownership: All materials, including photos and videos taken during the event, are the property of Wheel In Motion.


7. Privacy

7.1 Data Collection: Personal information collected from participants will be used for the purpose of administering the contest.

7.2 Data Protection: Wheel In Motion will take reasonable measures to protect the personal information of participants.


8. General Conditions

8.1 Modification: Wheel In Motion reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our official website.
